Question 1

When can I get Family or Extended?

Accepted Answer

Very soon. Join a premium plan’s waitlist today and you get early access to its features right away, free, with no credit card required. Your account stays on Free until the plan opens; we’ll email you when it does, and nothing is ever charged without your say-so.

Question 2

Is the Free plan really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Free stays free with no time limit, for two people in one household, with unlimited one-time tasks, up to five recurring ones and up to three chore rotations.

Question 3

What counts as a member?

Accepted Answer

Anyone in your household, including you, plus anyone you’ve invited who hasn’t joined yet. Each person has their own Shirewell login. Teens 13 and up can have accounts too.

Question 4

What counts as an active recurring task?

Accepted Answer

A task that repeats and is still going, like a weekly trash day or a filter change every 90 days. Ticking one off schedules the next and doesn’t use up another slot. One-time tasks are always unlimited.

Question 5

What are household analytics?

Accepted Answer

A view of what got done each week, month or year: who did what, how long it took and how much was on time. It comes with Family and Extended.

Question 6

Can I switch plans later?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Once Family and Extended open, you can move between plans any time from your account settings. You can also join or change your waitlist there today.

Question 7

What do “Coming soon” features mean?

Accepted Answer

They’re on the way and included in the plan when they arrive, at no extra cost. Everything else on this page works today.
